The Feminist Studies Department is looking to hire students to fill our Peer Advisor positions for the 2024-25 school year!
Hours are flexible (Monday-Thursday 8-12 & 1-5 PM).

Candidates must:

Be a 2nd or 3rd year FEMST major/minor OR LGBTQ minor

Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Be able to work with many people of different backgrounds

Display the ability to multitask

Be a team player working closely with Office Staff and Chair

Work beginning Fall 2024 and through Spring 2025 with orientation Spring’24

Be a full-time student
Peer Advisors are required to:
-
Available 5+ hours per week during the 2024-2025 academic year. Training will take place May/June.
The Peer Advisor does not have to be registered during the summer session, but MUST be a full-time student during the academic year.
