Bio:
BriShaun (they/them) is a Ph.D. student in the Feminist Studies Department at University of California, Santa Barbara. Their previous research was on the impact of settler colonialism on suicide rates in the Indigenous community. They are interested in expanding their research on the further impacts of settler colonialism on women's roles in their communities and how "value" has changed in the Indigenous community.
